I always wondered where Drew Barrymore came from, apart from her connection to Steven Spielberg apparently he's her godfather, she's not that good looking and she's not exactly a dame Judi Dench at acting either. Hell that all changed once I watched Poison Ivy, sporting big blonde curls, lots of red lipstick and the signature leather jacket she's seriously sexy. This film's a great throwback to the best clothes of the 80s and 90s starting with a biker rebel look then changing to sharp and colourful tailoring, showing the contrast of fashion between the two decades. Look out for the oversized red jacket and an incredible stockings and suspenders scene. The film has a dark Lolita theme to it but with cooler and less adolescent clothes.
